SOUTHWICK: Esther Storey Letourneau, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015 at the age of 96. Born January 31, 1919 to the late William E. Storey and Eva C. Holcomb of Southwick, she was the youngest of their 7 children. Esther grew up on her family’s farm on College Highway. An Alumna of Westfield State Teacher’s College Class of 1940, she taught in the Southwick School System before moving with her husband and their 3 children to Florida in October 1956. She resided in Longwood, FL for 56 years. After 26 years with Flagship Bank of Sanford, she retired in December 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings as well as her husband Thomas J. Letourneau, Sr., son Thomas J Letourneau, Jr. and grandson Terry R. Summersill. She leaves behind her daughters, Nancy L. Moore (Don) of Longwood, FL and Judith Benton (Neal) of Eustis, FL, 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Burial Services at New Cemetery in Southwick will be held Friday May 29th at 11:00am by the Rev. Jackson of Christ United Methodist Church.
