Sullivan said the three new members, Ramon Diaz, Michael Tirrell and Diane Mayhew, all requested appointment to the Building Committee. Sullivan said the new members will have the opportunity to request assignment to the five subcommittees at their discretion.

“We feel that the principal of the elementary schools that will be effected by the project should have a voice in the process,” Sullivan said.
Spiegel joins Franklin Avenue Principal Leslie Clark Yvon, Abner Gibbs Principal Maggie Adams and Highland Avenue Principal Jim Kane on the committee.
The committee also voted to transfer teacher Kathy Knapik from the FF&E Subcommittee to the Construction Issues Subcommittee.
