8:56 a.m.: accident, 587 E. Main St. at 8 Little River Road, patient refused transport, one vehicle towed;
10:11 a.m.: accident, Berkshire Bank, 44 Little River Road, motorcycle accident, 76-year-old male operator transported to Baystate Medical Center with head injury;
10:13 a.m.: larceny, Oakwood Terrace Apt., 200 Southwick Road, property owner reported laundry room broken into, keyholes were drilled out and change stolen from all the machines;
11:25 a.m.: arrest, 1 Franklin St. at 174 Elm St., Joseph J. Gingras, 20, unknown address, Southwick, arrested on two outstanding warrants;
1:36 p.m.: larceny, County Barber Shop, 61 School St., business owner reported that money was stolen from the drawer and his cellular telephone taken from his place of business;
3:56 p.m.: accident, 1507 E. Mountain Road, delivery truck damaged a resident’s mailbox; truck operator’s company notified and instructions left with a supervisor to provide specific operator and vehicle information to police;
4:27 p.m.: accident, Northbound, Elm Street, caller reported a tractor-trailer truck traveling northbound took down a traffic light when attempting to turn southbound onto Elm Street;
4:39 p.m.: accident, 27 Paper Mill Road at 766 E. Mountain Road, patient refused transport, one vehicle towed;
4:58 p.m.: larceny, resident reported he sent medication (Oxycodone) to his daughter through the UPS Service at Staples; the package arrived severely damaged and broken into without the medication;
7:55 p.m.: accident hit-and-run, City Package Store, 131 Meadow St., caller reported somebody hit his vehicle and took off from the scene; resident gave license plate number to police, vehicle located and accident report taken;
9:56 p.m.: property found, Park Square, Elm St., wallet found at the concert at Park Square was turned in;
9:58 p.m.: accident hit and run, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, Walmart employee reported finding her vehicle had been struck in parking lot during her shift, no information left;
10:30 p.m.: property found, 22 Ashley St. at 35 Cross St., an officer brought in a girls BMX bike for safekeeping.
