RUSSELL – Doris M. (Brueno) Platt, 81, (1934 – 2015) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 25, 2015. Born in Westfield, MA on February 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. Brueno and Agnes M. (Lemieux) Brueno. She was a graduate of Westfield High School. She lived most of her life in Russell. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veteran of Foreign Wars in Russell, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Platt. She leaves a son, Stuart A. Eggleston of Russell and a daughter, Cindy J. Eggleston of North Port, FL; a sister, Lorraine Bean; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many cousins and friends. There are no funeral services. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Russell Cemetery in Russell, MA. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Russell Fire Department, 162 Main Street, Russell, MA 01071.
