The Planning Board is looking for an interested resident to serve as an Associate Member. This individual sits in on issuances of special permits. This position will be for a one-year term.

The Historical Commission is also seeking an interested resident to serve on the Historical Commission.
Interested residents must be registered voters and submit a letter of interest and resume by 12 p.m. on Nov. 12, 2015 to the Selectmen’s Office, Town Hall, 454 College Highway, Southwick, MA 01077.
Selectmen Administrative Assistant Sondra Pendleton said once letters are received, they are forwarded to the commissions.
“They will make their recommendation, which is sent to the Board for appointment,” said Pendleton.
“If there are a number of applicants, the board generally asks the commission to narrow them down and they would make a determination to do interviews,” she added.
