WESTFIELD: Doris M. (Hopkins) Osden, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, October 29, 2015 at Renaissance Manor, Westfield. She was born in Taunton to the late Russell and Lillian (Wheeler) Hopkins and was educated in Suffield Schools. She loved family, family get togethers, holidays, taking rides, day trips and the coast of Maine. She worked as a clerk for many years for Ames and Steigers and did lots of work for the Cub Scout for many years. Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond E. Osden, Jr. and a son Bryan R. Osden, she is survived by three loving sons, Bruce R. Osden and wife Jackie of Montgomery, Scott A, Osden and his wife Francine of Montgomery and Randy L. Osden, nine cherished grandchildren,twelve great grandchildren, her sisters, Carolyn LeDuc of Chicopee and Ruthie Boyle of Westfield, her brother Edward Hopkins of Missouri and many people that called her “mom” and “Grandma”. A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 12:30 PM in the Center Cemetery, Montgomery. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1PM in the Montgomery Town Hall.
