8:41 a.m.: reported death, 115 Park Drive, woman found her grandmother deceased, patient had DNR, so no CPR was conducted;
9:42 a.m.: larceny, Notre Dame Street, woman reported her cell phone stolen by her foster child;
11:27 a.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Granville Road, resident reported that while they were out it appears the house was broken into, the doors have been kicked in, was unsure whether anything was taken;
11:36 a.m.: suspicious person, West Springfield City Line, Springfield Road, caller reported seeing a man throwing objects in the roadway at passing vehicles, no vehicles reportedly damaged, Dermont E. Weaver, 31 of 41 Daytona St., Springfield, arrested on charges of two outstanding warrants;
12:19 p.m.: larceny, Shaker Road, party reported he hired a roofing contractor, gave a down payment, but no work has been completed;
2:31 p.m.: accident, United States Post Office, 8 W. Silver St., vehicle struck building, no injuries;
3:09 p.m.: accident, Polish Deli, 7 White St., 2006 Mitsubishi and 2015 Chevy, no injuries, no tows;
4:47 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Montgomery Road, woman reported she left for work at 8:30 a.m., when she returned home, she noticed somebody had broken into her house through the mud room and broke the glass in the front door;
6:22 p.m.: larceny, Westfield Athenaeum, 6 Elm St., caller reported her iPhone was stolen within the past 45 minutes.
