Major crime and incident report

1:58 a.m.:
medical emergency, Avery St., 28-year-old man who overdosed transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
9:51 a.m.: forgery/counterfeiting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, two counterfeit $100 bills were passed on November 29 and November 30 by a known suspect;
10:24 a.m.: accident, Westfield Equipment Services, 28 Mechanic St., one vehicle towed, patient refused transport;
12:06 p.m.: accident, Westfield Bank, 560 E. Main St., apparently a vehicle struck a one way sign on East Main Street and left a registration plate behind;
3:18 p.m.: suspicious, Rocky’s Ace Hardware, 2 Free St., party witnessed a man shoot up heroin while sitting in the parking lot, Kyle W. Schott, 21, of 40 Mt. Laurel Drive, Russell, arrested on charges of possession of Class A drug (heroin) and possession of Class E drug (miscellaneous pills);
4:32 p.m.: accident, 742 North Road, 1991 BMW (towed) and 1999 Ford Explorer (towed), one vehicle landed on its hood, two individuals were extricated, three patients transported to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Westfield Gas & Electric notified of downed pole, road was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident;
4:54 p.m.: accident, Tobacco Barn, 49 Elm St., 1997 Buick and 2005 Dodge Dakota, no injuries, no tows.
