5:07 a.m.: accident, 32-34 Cross St., 2005 Hyundai vs. telephone pole, one transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, vehicle towed, Westfield Gas & Electric notified of hanging wires and to repair pole;
6:51 a.m.: accident, Advance Auto Parts, 282 E. Main St., 2015 Acura, 2007 Ford Edge and 2003 Mitsubishi (towed), one patient refused transport and one transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
12:05 p.m.: larceny, Lathrop Avenue, woman reported that someone stole a Bank of America check in the amount of $49.87 that was mailed to her previous address;
12:07 p.m.: accident, 1230 Russell Road at 234 Bates Road, services rendered;
3:44 p.m.: identity fraud, Russell Road, victim reported identity fraud;
3:57 p.m.: officer wanted, McDonald’s 182 N. Elm St., employee notified customer that they were trying to pay for order using a counterfeit $10 bill, customer used authentic money to purchase food, customer left scene before police arrived;
5:58 p.m.: disturbance, Taylor Avenue, Jonathan W. Acevedo-Smith, 28, of 242 Main St., New Britain, Conn., arrested on charges of assault with dangerous weapon (broom handle), assault and battery with dangerous weapon (fireworks), strangulation or suffocation (domestic) and assault with dangerous weapon (knife).
