MARIETTA, GA: Joseph J. Almeida, 21 died as a result of a tragic car crash on Friday, April 8th. Joseph (Joey), was a 2013 graduate of Harrison High School in Kennesaw, GA. He grew up in Westfield, and attended Southampton Rd Elementary and Westfield North Middle School before moving to Georgia with his family. Joey enjoyed archery, on-line gaming, camping, music and was learning to play the guitar. He loved hanging out with family and friends in his family’s sun room, where they enjoyed many fun times and laughter. He had great stories of his travels to France in 2012. Joseph was employed by Dominos in Marietta.
Joseph leaves behind his loving family, parents; George & Jacqueline Almeida and his sister Kaylee Anna, all of Marietta, GA. He also leaves his Aunts & Uncles; Flora & Jeff Masciadrelli, Darlene Almeida, Jack & Linda Almeida, all of Westfield. His Aunt & Uncle Donna and Les Martin of Medford, Oregon, and Aunt Christine Moriarty of Easthampton, MA. He will be missed by his cousins, Brent & Alyssa, Marco, Melodie, Ross, Pamela, Nick, Garrett, Casey, and Jalyn, and his dog, and faithful friend, Pal.
Joey was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents, George & Mildred Almeida of Westfield, as well as his maternal grandparents, John & Anna Kocal of Westfield.
The Almeida family is greatly comforted and thankful that Joey is in the arms of His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We LOVE you Joey 994460!
