Nuciforo to speak at Southwick Democratic Committee
SOUTHWICK – Former State Senator Andy Nuciforo, a Pittsfield Attorney and candidate for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives’ newly-formed 1st Congressional District will be the keynote speaker at the Southwick Democratic Town Committee meeting, tomorrow at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to outlining his campaign for U.S. Congress that highlights several major policy differences between his main opponent Rep. Richard Neal (MA-2) and him, Nuciforo will discuss the importance of preserving the tourism and agriculture industries on which many Southwick businesses and residents largely rely.
“From his ultra-conservative votes on issues from women’s rights to banking deregulation, Richie Neal is clearly not the progressive candidate in this race and, I look forward to having a conversation in Southwick about the differences between he and I. And, it seems the only thing he is consistent about, is being inconsistent when it comes to trade agreements that affect small businesses in towns like Southwick,” Nuciforo said.
Nuciforo’s remarks will be delivered in the Land Use meeting room in the Southwick Town Hall, 454 College Highway Southwick, Massachusetts at 7:00 p.m. The public and media are encouraged to attend.
