It was a relatively quiet day for police on Sunday.
3:00 p.m.: Accident, hit and run, Franklin St. A vehicle was said to have backed into a person’s car, then fled the scene. Police said that they received a description of the vehicle, but no other information was available at the time. The car that was hit was unoccupied.
7:42 p.m.: Suspicious activity, Mechanic St. A couple walked into the police department and reported that some of their belongings that were on their porch were moved to the sidewalk. Additionally, according to the report, one of the victims noted that one of the items “smell of urine.” No arrests or additional information available at the time of report.
