WESTFIELD – Raymond Brodowski, Sr., 81, (1935-2016) passed away on June 16, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield to the late Joseph and Bertha (Eidinger) Brodowski and was a graduate of Westfield High School. Ray served his country with the United States Army during Korea from 1954-1956 and attained the rank of Private First Class. He was employed by Old Colony Envelope as a machine adjuster for many years. In his youth he ran two gas stations in Westfield on Main St and on N. Elm St. Ray was a member for over 30 years at Grace Lutheran Church in West Springfield and was worked as the Sexton. Ray loved spending time with his family and loved cutting wood. Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Marie L. (Brin) Brodowski at home, his sons, Raymond Brodowski, Jr. and his wife Denise of Agawam and Michael E. Brodowski and his wife Tina of Florida, his two sisters, Dorothy Bodendorf, and Joyce Jutkus, both of Westfield, six cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda J. Guess in 2014. All services are private.
