Westfield – Michael Paul Michalczyk, 65, (1951 – 2016) passed away Saturday at
Noble Hospital. Michael was born January 28, 1951 in Queens, NY to the late Henry and Helen (LaFore) Michalczyk. Michael was raised in Wilbraham with his dearest Aunt Helen Michalczyk and her late husband Ted of Wilbraham. He was a graduating member of the Class of 1970 from Minnechaug Regional High School. Michael worked for Big Y for over 22 years before retiring, and also worked for T&S Cleaning for 12 years. But he really enjoyed being a crossing guard here in Westfield for over 4 years.. He was a very hard worker and took pride in taking care of his family. He loved to fish and enjoyed a good cup of coffee. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Shelley (Smith) Michalczyk, and his two loving sons Jesse M. Michalczyk and Jordan P. Michalczyk all of Westfield. He was predeceased by his sister Gail L. Vogel in 2009.
