Major crime and incident report

8:55 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a walk-in complaint from a resident who said that several pieces of jewelry were stolen from her home. She was unsure when the theft happened, but said that it may have been sometime within the past three weeks.
3:38 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Feeding Hills Road. Police received a call of a truck who had a compactor fall on it. The compactor came from a dump truck. The accident caused diesel fuel to be spilled across the roadway, but no injuries were reported. Police were able to stop the vehicle that the compactor fell off of.
7:48 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, North West Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that had flipped over and was off the roadway. Police responded and were initially told that there was someone that may not be breathing. Westfield Fire and Police were able to get the two occupants out of the vehicle and Westfield Fire transported the two via ambulance to Baystate Medical Center. One patient was discharged, while the other was in critical condition, as of last week.
