2:36 p.m.: Larceny, Miller Street. Police received a complaint of a 55-inch television missing from a home. The owner said that they may know who did it and gave a name to police. The name could not be released.
3:16 p.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, Southwick Road. Police received a report of a business that had two separate vehicles broken into. From one vehicle a wallet was stolen and a bank card allegedly used down the road from the location, and from the second vehicle a cell phone was allegedly stolen. Police were told that there was surveillance footage, but no arrests were made at the time of the report.
10:30 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Springfield Road near the West Springfield line. Police initially stopped a vehicle after it was observed speeding. After stopping the vehicle and checking the driver’s information, police found that Jonathan M. Santiago, 23, of Springfield, was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Police also reported that upon searching Santiago, police found a small amount of cocaine. Police arrested Santiago and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked and possession of a class B drug.
