Westfield- William H. Tella, 81, died Sunday September 25, 2016 in a local nursing home. He was born in Westfield on June 9, 1935 to the late Manuel and Thelma (LaFogg) Tella. He was an assembler for many years at Columbia Mfg Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, watching and feeding the birds. He leaves his wife of 61 years Margaret J. (Swiatek) Tella. He leaves a son William J. Tella and his wife Joanne, his grandsons John Tella and Joseph Tella and his wife Brittany, great-granddaughters Lilly and Lavender. His siblings Barbara Walker and Joyce Swiatek and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter Deborah (Tella) Henault and siblings Manuel and Jaunita. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church on Saturday October 1, at 10 a.m. Donations in memory of William may be made to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road, Westfield, MA 01085.
