SOUTHWICK – Alvin Leon Fields, D.D.S., 82, beloved husband for 56 years to Susan (Heimov) Fields, died October 22, 2016. He was a retired dentist who practiced in Enfield, CT.Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a longtime resident of West Hartford, CT; moving to Southwick, MA ten years ago.
In addition to his wife, Dr. Fields is survived by a son, Dr. Warren Fields and his wife Dina of Mystic, CT and their children, Daniel, Matthew and Joshua; his daughter, Shelley Motsko and her husband Thomas of Southwick, MA and their children, Ellen and Jennifer. He also leaves his brother, Ronald Fidelman and his wife Trudy; two sisters, Sylvia Richman and Helene Perlman; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday (Oct. 27, 2016) at Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam , MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Ahavas Achim P.O. Box 334, Westfield , MA 01086
