Police on scene initially reported that they found a police license plate, but it was later found to be a government license plate that belonged to the Department of Transportation, and was off the F250. Police reported no injuries or tow needed.

49 p.m.: Accident, Mill Street and Court Street. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2004 Ford Focus and a 2011 Nissan Murano. There were no reported injuries but one vehicle did require a tow.

34 p.m.: Accident, Union Street and Lower Sandy Hill Road. Police received a report of another accident, this time a three-car accident involving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country, a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and a 1999 Nissan Altima. According to police, two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene and one person was transported to Baystate Noble via Westfield Fire paramedics after complaining of injuries. The crash was caused after one vehicle didn’t stop in time, which caused a collision and the vehicle they collided with hit another in front of them.

26 p.m.: Accident, Shaker Road. Police received another accident report, this time a two-car accident involving a 2004 Ford Escape and a 2011 Volvo C70. Police reported that although it was snowing, the vehicles collided due to one of the vehicles traveling at an unsafe speed in an S-turn. The vehicle lost control and spun, colliding with the other vehicle, but police did not specify which lost control. Both vehicles were towed and both occupants of the vehicles were brought to Baystate Noble via Westfield Fire paramedics.

06 p.m.: Accident, Holyoke road and North Elm Street. Police received yet another accident report–another two-car accident, this time involving a 2015 Honda Pilot and a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Police reported that one party requested an ambulance for an injury that was preexisting secondary to surgery. One vehicle required a tow and one person was transported to Baystate Noble via Westfield Fire paramedics.
