Hello Westfield! What an exciting week it has been. First and foremost, I hope that you are all readjusting well to business as usual after the holiday break.
This past Wednesday I took my third oath of office during the first formal session of the 190th General Court. It was an honor to be sworn-in by Governor Baker, surrounded by my colleagues. There is nothing more humbling than pledging to uphold and defend the Constitutions of both Massachusetts and the United States. Representing this city has been one of the greatest honors of my career, and I am ever grateful to the voters who have put their faith in me.
Now that the session has officially commenced, my office is hard at work researching and filing bills. My legislative priorities are yet to be finally determined, but I do plan on refiling several bills to do with veterans’ benefits, child and elder neglect, and some local issues, as well. As for new bills, you’ll have to stay tuned!
As always, I would love to hear from all of you- please don’t hesitate to reach out to my office with any ideas, questions or concerns. We can be reached at 413-572-3920 or [email protected]. Have a great week!
