JoAnne Tryba-Lemire

Zephyrhills, FL – JoAnne Tryba-Lemire born November 18, 1940 lost her battle to cancer & C.O.P.D. on January 30, 2017. She was affectionately known as Jojo to all of her friends.  She was born in Easthampton, lived most of her life in Westfield and for the past 25 years in her beloved home in Zephyrhills, FL.  She was the widow of John A. Tryba after 34 years of marriage followed by Armand Lemire.  She will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Donna Knight of Zephyrhills, FL, Annette Lally & husband Jerry of Westfield, MA and Jonna Tryba Herbele of Westfield.  Six grandchildren, Amber Pouliot and husband Brandon, Mark St. Jean, Stephanie & Kristen Lally and Noel & Heather Herbele and the cutest great-grandson ever, Nolan Pouliot. Jojo is survived by a sister Beatrice Cowell of West Springfield; and a brother David Turgeon of Easthampton. She was preceded by her parents, Fred and Alice Turgeon; one brother Fred Turgeon Jr., and four sisters, Arlene Roukey, Mary Kolodziej, Pauline Krutka & Phyllis Learmont.  She lost her infant son Mark A.Tryba in 1962. Jojo had one speed in life, FAST!  She opened her heart and home to many children in need over her lifetime.  When faced with adversity she always got up and dusted herself off.  She lived a life seeking fun & adventure. She loved to bowl, golf, cook for crowds, play cards with friends and acted in drama plays.  Travel was a favorite with many cruises under her belt.  She even took a shot at being a business owner of a wood working company, TryMor Wood Products for a few years. The family will receive family and friends from12:30-2:30 pm Saturday, February, 4, 2017 at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085, with Words of Remembrance at 2:30 pm from family.
