Westfield – George Mathew Changathara passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 58. He is survived by his wife, Raji, and his two adult children, Hanok and Heleena. People who knew George best will remember him for his adventurous spirit, his vivid stories, and his love for learning and reading, which live on in his children. He is the founder of a number of small businesses, including a small retail store called All in One Shop Inc. and a family-owned grocery store called FreshCo Food Markets (which will continue to operate in Hampton Ponds Plaza).
The wake will be held at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085 on Friday, March 3 at 6 pm. The funeral will be held there as well on Saturday, March 4 at 12 pm with a reception to follow at Papps Bar & Grill, 110 Airport Road, Westfield, MA 01085.
