9:45 a.m.: Vandalism, motor vehicle, Bertera Dodge, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that had reportedly been vandalized. Police reported that a window was broken. No other information was reported.
2:05 p.m.: Forgery/counterfeiting, Family Dollar, Franklin Street. Police reported that during investigating a counterfeit $100 bill incident at Family Dollar, they reportedly found a second incident of the same that was not initially reported, which reportedly occurred Feb. 25.
4:10 p.m.: Recovered motor vehicle, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police reported that they found a vehicle that was reportedly abandoned in the Walmart parking lot. Upon running the license plate through the police’s computer system, police also found that the car was reportedly stolen. Police reported that the vehicle was valued at about $40,000, and they are investigating.
