Major crime and incident log
8:22 a.m.: Accident, Springfield Road and East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a three-vehicle crash involving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, a 2005 Toyota RAV4 and a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. Police reported no injuries initially, but one was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance. Two vehicles were also towed from the scene.
9:20 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a manufacturing business who reported that a portion of a gun was allegedly stolen. Police are investigating.
10:09 a.m.: Shoplifting, Big Y, East Silver Street. Police received a report of two separate alleged shoplifting incidents that reportedly involved the same person over the past several days. Police are investigating.
2:23 p.m.: Burglary/breaking and entering, Aldrich Drive. Police received a report of a home that was reportedly broken into. This has previously happened at this residence recently, according to police. Police reported loose change and cash was reportedly stolen. Police are investigating.
