8:23 a.m.: Accident, Main Street and Meadow Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2011 BMW 535XI and a tractor-trailer. The accident was reported as the car being side swiped by the tractor-trailer and no injuries were reported. No tow trucks were requested.
8:59 a.m.: Accident, West Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that had struck a fire hydrant. No injuries were reported but the vehicle was towed.
10:39 a.m.: Accident, Elm Street and Park Square. Police received a report of a tractor-trailer that truck some ballards at Park Square. The vehicle was stopped by police.
11:38 a.m.: Arrest, Danek Drive. Police reported that they executed a search warrant at an apartment on Danek Drive. Police reported that the warrant execution resulted in finding 25 bags of heroin and the arrest of Anthony G. Davy, 41, of Westfield, on a charge of possession to distribute class A drug.
5:02 p.m.: Accident, North Elm Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2005 Toyota Tacoma and a 2003 Suzuki Gravity. One person was transported to the hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel for an issue related to the crash. No tow trucks were requested.
