Whitinsville – Joanne Elizabeth Perryman, 78, (1938-2017) passed away peacefully Tuesday at Milford Regional Hospital. Joanne was born October 11, 1938 in Westfield, to the late Stephen and Sophie (Swotchak) Pitoniak. She worked for many years as a Home Health Aide before she retired. She loved her farm in Kentucky, and enjoyed horseback riding. She was a fierce protector of animals and an active animal rescue volunteer. Joanne is survived by her beloved children Lynn Grande of FL, William Perryman and his wife Sylvia of IL and Thomas Perryman of FL. She was the cherished grandmother to John Grande, Chris Perryman, Brad Perryman, Stevie Perryman, Kyle Perryman, Arielle Perryman and Kane Perryman and great grandmother to Travis, Cody, Cameron, Remy, Asher, Ace and Emma. She was the caring sister to Phyllis Casey, Phillip Pitoniak, Eleanore Dinneen, and Carolyn Pirola. She was predeceased by her brother Steve Pitoniak and sisters Marilyn Lockwood and Barbara Kochanek. Calling hours for Joanne will be Monday, June 26, 2017, from 10:30am to 11:30am, at Westfield Funeral Home and Cremation, 4 Princeton Street, Westfield, MA, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12PM at St. Peters Church, 24 State Street, Westfield, MA.
