2:09 a.m.: Motor vehicle theft, Union Street. Police received a report of 2008 Chevrolet Malibu that was allegedly stolen while the keys were in the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle had reportedly observed the alleged theft and the vehicle was reported to have fled the scene heading toward Springfield Road. Police did not find the vehicle at the time of the report.
12:19 p.m.: Assault, George Street. Police received a report of an alleged assault. According to police, the victim claimed they were attempting to protect their child and they were attacked themselves. No further information provided by police.
1:59 p.m.: Accident, Sherman Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 1997 GMC Sierra and a 2007 Kia Sedona. One vehicle was parked and the driver of the vehicle that struck it reported the accident.
2:17 p.m.: Accident, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. One person was injured and transported to the hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel, and one vehicle was towed.
