11:44 a.m.: Larceny-bicycle, Phelps Avenue. Police received a report of a bicycle that was allegedly stolen from a home.
12:55 p.m.: Larceny, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of money that was reported missing. The incident allegedly occurred after two people went to the residence to help another who was known to the alleged victim paint the residence. Police report that it is under investigation.
8:55 p.m.: Missing person, walk-in. Police received a report of a child that went missing after he reportedly “jumped out” of a van on Elm Street. Police since located the child. The story can be found in the Aug. 28 edition of The Westfield News.
