Robert P. Sands, 79, passed away on January 9, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Ware, MA to the late Edward and Marie (Query) Sands. He was employed in manufacturing for many years, he also supported donation charities such as Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed reading, crafts and was a sports enthusiast, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. Robert is survived by his daughter, Bridget A. Sands and her mother Barbara of Westfield, his brothers, James E. Sands and his wife Jeanne of Ohio and Phillip Sands and his wife MaryAnn of Chelmsford, MA, two grandchildren, one niece, seven nephews and seventeen great nieces and nephews. All services are private and at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
