Richard D. Kunst

Richard D. Kunst, 76, passed away at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Lester and Margaret (Meyer) Kunst. He served his country with the United States Navy. Richard was a machine adjuster for 18 years for Old Colony Envelope, a self-employed woodworker for over 25 years, doing wood inlay work for jewelry and desk supplies. After retiring he worked as a service van driver for Bertera Dodge in Westfield and for Big Y on E. Silver St. as a cashier. He was a member of the DAV and the Springfield Hobby Train Club. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Martha E. (Tebo) Kunst of Westfield, his sister Hope E. Rice of Hopkinton, Iowa, his sisters-in-law, Mary Johnson with Ray Reed of Westfield and Carol Tebo of Oklahoma City, OK, his brother-in-law Norman Tebo with Deb Crossman of Worthington, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 1PM in the Wyben Union Chapel , 678 Montgomery Road, Westfield MA. www.firtionadams.com
