Adriana Caraballo, 29, of 2 Second St., Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a May 17 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker brought by State Police.
James A. Fifield, 42, of 30 Park St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 18 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a marked lanes violation brought by Westfield police.
Luis A. Valdes, 30, of 513 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, was held in lieu of $500 cash bail pending a March 27 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
James R. Campagna, 34, of 361 Southampton Road, Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 18 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Daniel J. Iglesias, 29, of 25 Day Ave., Westfield, saw a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member brought by Westfield police dismissed when the alleged victim asserted his/her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify.
Irene J. Hawes, 54, of 29 E. Silver St.,was released on her personal recognizance pending an April 20 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police.
Wilson Briggs Jr., 52, of 109 Wilmont St. Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of uttering a false check brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a one year term in the house of correction, suspended, with probation for six months. He was assessed $90 and a charge of attempting to commit a crime was not prosecuted.
Benjamin C. Cain, 24, of 12 Monroe St., Westfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 8 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Westfield police.
Veronica L. Dearden, 51, of 59 College Highway, Southwick, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by Southwick police and was assessed $600, placed on probation for one year and her license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of defacing property was continued without a finding, charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation were not prosecuted.
