In The Westfield News July 10, 2018 there was an article on the Southwick Wildlife Management Area. The Mass. Division of Fish and Wildlife plans to stock pheasant twice a week in this 84-acre area but no mention was made of creating food plots of wheat, rye or corn for the birds to feed on.
The Westfield-Southwick area has an excellent pheasant habitat and stocked birds could easily carry over and create a wild pheasant population!
