11:02 a.m.: larceny, Broad Street, a resident came to the station to complain that a guitar was stolen from his apartment, the responding officer reports there was no sign of forcible entry;
4:31 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a resident came to the station to complain that personal property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that jewelry was stolen after tradesmen were in her residence;
5:05 p.m.: officer wanted, St.Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Road, a caller reports flowers were stolen from a burial plot;
9:01 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller reports a person who stole a store security key has been detained in the store, the responding officer reports the suspect admitted using wire cutters to steal a key used to disable anti-theft devices, Jacqueline Silver, 48, of 17 Boyleston St., Pittsfield, was arrested for unlawful possession of a theft detection device deactivator or remover and larceny from a building;
1:22 p.m.: arrest, Ridgeway Avenue, a detective reports an arrest pursuant to an ongoing investigation, Douglas P. Fortin, 39, of 37 Ridgeway Ave., Westfield, was arrested for assault and battery on a child with injury and three charges of assault and battery in a domestic relationship.
