SOUTHWICK: Daniel Austin Lisheness passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Born May 30, 1985, he was a son of Jay and Delores Lisheness. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his two brothers Jacob Lisheness and Benjamin Lisheness and his wife, Paulina and their son Colton, his grandmothers Joan Tortoriello and Beverly Marcyoniak. Dan also leaves his three year old son Jackson Lisheness and Jackson’s mother Sara Conroy; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Daniel proudly served in the United States Navy from 2006-2008. He lived in Virginia for several years before moving back home to Southwick, MA where he worked and started a family. Daniel was a father above anything else, spending his free time with his beloved son Jackson. Daniel was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the water fishing with his friends and his son. Dan was a huge New England Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the games with his friends. Dan was best known for his contagious smile, sense of humor, his big heart and his outgoing personality. He will be remembered and deeply missed by all those that were lucky enough to be a part of his life.
Calling hours for Daniel will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA 01077. A private burial ceremony with military honors will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
