10:54 a.m.: breaking and entering, Holyoke Road, a caller reports his wallet was stolen from his vehicle, the responding officer reports the vehicle was not locked;
1:11 p.m.: fire, North Road, a caller reports smoke, the responding firefighters report a resident was burning illegally and was advised to extinguish the fire, the firefighters stayed on scene until the fire was put out;
3:40 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a caller from a supermarket reports a person who was caught attempting to steal over-the-counter medications is becoming irate, the responding officer reports that the man had been previously served with a ‘No trespassing’ order for the store, Jeffrey D. Krawczyk, 29, of 36 Stuart Place, Westfield, was arrested for shoplifting by concealing merchandise and for trespass;
9:24 p.m.: found property, Margerie Street, a person came to the station to surrender a found credit card, the responding officer reports the card owner had moved from her last known address, the card was stored for safe keeping.
