Westfield – Dan W. Gordner, 82, died Saturday, September 22, 2018, quietly at home with his family beside him. He was born in Bloomsburg, PA on January 22, 1936 to the late Delbert and Mary (Pugh) Gordner. Dan was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He served in the Air Force from 1954-1959 and was part of the 8th Strategic Air Command 99 Bomber Wing stationed in Korea. Dan was an avid outdoorsman and was a lifelong member of American Legion Post 124. He worked at the Westfield G&E for 25 years. He also owned and operated the Mordansville Inn in Bloomsburg, PA. He was pre-deceased by his wife Jeanne (Bednaz) Gordner in 1989. He leaves his daughter Mary Jean Reopel and her husband Tony and their children Val and Darryl, his son Dan Gordner, his son John Gordner and his children Izabella, Audrey and Madiline Gordner. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 28th from 4-7 pm at Firtion Adams Funeral home, 38 Broad St. , Westfield. Funeral and burial will be private.
