A growing body of research connects music therapy to improved social, cognitive, and emotional health. Armbrook Village is bringing an opportunity to experience the power of music to the people of Westfield in the form of a Memory Chorus, offered the fourth Wednesday of each month at 2pm. A memory chorus is a chance for people of all ages, especially seniors and their caregivers, to experience the therapeutic benefits of singing in a no-pressure group environment. This comes as the newest addition to the senior community’s Dementia Friendly Westfield Initiative.
