Teen Babysitting Course– Southwick Public Library is hosting a free babysitting course lead by 4-H Youth Development. This course is designed to help you develop the skills needed to become a caring, trustworthy, responsible and competent babysitter. You will learn how to care for children, how to solve problems, how to keep children safe and happy, how to talk with parents and adults, how to make responsible decisions, and how to handle emergencies. Cookies and Coloring- Grades 7-12 are invited to the Southwick Public Library on Tuesday, October 16 from 2:30-3:30 to color, chat, listen to music and have some cookies! Southwick Public Library Advisory Teens (SPLAT) – Help make the library a great place for teens! At SPLAT, we meet once a month to organize events to put on at the library for teens and work to make the library better for you! Practice leadership skills in a fun way! The experience you gain from SPLAT will stand out on any job or college application.
