12:35 a.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller reports she left her purse in a shopping cart at a Springfield Road department store and returned for it immediately but found it gone;
4:48 a.m.: breaking and entering, Springfield Road, a caller reports his parked car was broken into, the responding officer reports the vehicle had not been locked and property including a cell phone was stolen;
7:42 a.m.: unattended death, West Road, a caller reports a possible unattended death of a 48-year-old woman, the responding detective reports that the medical examiner’s office claimed jurisdiction;
8:06 a.m.: accident, Franklin Street, multiple callers report a three vehicle crash and one caller reported she and her daughter were in pain, dual response dispatched, the responding officer requested additional ambulances, three persons were transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, two vehicles were towed from the scene;
10:30 a.m.: identity fraud, Broad Street, a resident came to the station to complain that his credit card was fraudulently used, the responding officer reports the victim said that he has his physical card but the numbers have been compromised and the account has been accessed locally;
10:52 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield State University, 333 Western Ave., a groundskeeper reports taking custody of tagged pigeon which cannot fly, the responding animal control officer reports the pigeon was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
2:31 p.m.: larceny Union Street, a resident came to the station to complain that jewelry was stolen at a tanning salon, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she found her necklace to be missing after using a tanning bed but when she returned to look for it the person tasked with cleaning the bed between clients said she had not found it, the officer reports that the next customer to use the bed will be contacted;
3:56 p.m.: animal complaint, Union Street, a resident brought a neutered male domestic longhaired orange tabby cat she found near her home to the municipal animal shelter.
