4:24 a.m.: assault, Jefferson Street, a caller from Baystate Noble Hospital reports a patient in the emergency department reports he was assaulted, the responding officer report the patient said that he had been walking home after bar closing time and had exchanged words with the occupants of a vehicle on Jefferson Street before the vehicle stopped and two occupants exited and struck his face and head, the man said he then walked to the hospital, the officer noted abrasions on the man’s face, see story in the Tuesday, Nov. 27, edition of The Westfield News.
