The Russell Council on Aging serves lunch at the Russell Senior Center, 65 Main St., Russell, each Tuesday at noon. Lunch is provided by Highland Valley Elder Services. There is not a fee for lunch, but a $3.00 donation is suggested by Highland Valley. Reservations should be made and meal choice stated, by calling and leaving a message at 862-6205, by the Sunday before. The menu for Tuesday, January 22 is a hotdog BBQ pork sandwich with Italian blend vegetables, baked beans, hamburger roll and fresh fruit for dessert.
