WESTFIELD – Brandon Nicholas Simmitt, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2019 in Westfield at the age of 30. Brandon was born on December 6th,1988 in Springfield MA to John and Lisa Simmitt. He attended Westfield Vocational and also attended Porter and Chester for electrical. Brandon was a kind, generous, loving individual who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed hanging out by the fire, family parties, laying out by the pool and spending time with animals; especially his cat Sammi. He was an active and dedicated member of the City Church of Springfield, MA and often volunteered there.
Brandon is survived by his parents, John and Lisa also of Westfield; siblings, Tyler & Ryan Simmitt and Mike Cornelius. He is preceded in death by relatives, Grandparents: Joe & Thelma Martin, Francis & Barbara Simmitt, Aunts and Uncles: Cheryl Parody, Terry Mason, Scott Simmitt, Gil Martin, Cindi McCready, Liz Avalone, Art Torres, Diane Martin, Joseph Martin, Sheryl Leo, many many cousins and a lots of great friends.
The wake is scheduled for Thursday Jan 17th from 4-7 at Firtion Adams In Westfield, and a funeral Friday Jan 18th at 11am at Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Brandon’s life.
