WESTFIELD – Jessie C. Organek, 99, passed away Monday, January 28th at the Genesis Nursing Home in Westfield surrounded by her loving son John and daughter Susan. She was born in Westfield to the late Michael and Sophie Sadowski on March 22, 1919. She retired from the Westfield School Lunch Dept, and enjoyed over 40 years of retirement. She was a gourmet cook and enjoyed cooking her whole life, especially her famous breads. She was a member of the Polish Women’s Alliance, the Rosary Society and a communicant to Holy Trinity in Westfield. She enjoyed traveling with her husband out West, Disney World and her walks. Jessie adorned her grandchildren the most. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Organek in 2003, daughter-in-law Carrie Organek 2015, siblings; Charlie, Loretta, Viola, Pauline, and Helen. She is survived by her children John Organek and Susan Jaczyk and her husband Joseph all of Westfield and her grandchildren Jerah Organek of Westfield and Michael Jazcyk and his wife Monica of Springfield. She will be dearly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Genesis Nursing Home for the care and support towards the family. Friends and family are invited to meet, Saturday February 2 at 10:30AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity, 335 Elm Street in Westfield.
