On Saturday March 16th, local author Kelly Buffum will lead a seminar to assist writers wishing to self-publish their work. The event takes place at Blue Umbrella Books, 2 Main Street, Westfield, MA, starting at 1:30 P.M.

Kelly Buffum will instruct participants on how to convert and properly format the Word file of their completed manuscript for uploading to Kindle Direct Publishing and other self-publishing platforms. MS Word will be used for the presentation, but what you learn can be applied to other software packages. Bring your charged laptop and the file of your work along with you. The difference between formatting files for eBooks and files for print books will also be covered. A $10 registration will be payable to Blue Umbrella Books, and pre-registration is recommended.
