Mayor Brian P. Sullivan announced today the activities the City has scheduled in celebration of Arbor Day, Thursday, April 25th. This year the celebration will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery located at 140 West Silver Street from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided at 12:00pm. The event will be hosted by the City of Westfield Department of Land and Natural Resources, Northern Tree, Lewis Tree, and Stockbridge school of Agriculture is sending four students to participate in the celebration as well. Rain date will be scheduled on Friday, April 26^th. Westfield has been recognized for 13 years with the designation of Tree City USA as well as being given the Growth Award in 2018.
