Blue Umbrella Books will be hosting a children’s event with author Essie Laflamme on June 1 from 11 a.m. to noon. Author Essie Laflamme will be in the shop to discuss her book, “Lola, the Roving Reporter: A Tail of Love” story about Lola, the town’s ‘Roving Reporter!’ and with her keen gift of sniff, starts picking up different smells – and they aren’t good! Will Lola’s pals come together and find a way to bring the peace back to Peaceville? Laflamme will bring a variety of puppets for an interactive discussion that touch upon the importance of being a good friend, community, and respect for one another – and ourselves.
