WESTFIELD – James E. “Frenchie” French, 51, (1967-2019) passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Pittsfield to Ann (Buzzee) French. He was the manager for Oleksak Lumber and worked for them for 33 years. Frenchie was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing and ice fishing. He loved the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots and Celtics, enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes. Frenchie enjoyed riding dirt bikes and quads and was a past member of the Knox Trail Riders. He was raised on a farm and loved the farm life, raising animals and working the farm. Frenchie is survived by his mother, Ann French of Westfield, his two sons, Bailey T. French of Camp Lejeune, NC and Tyler J. French of Westfield, a brother, Donald French and his wife Carol of Dalton, his niece, Isabella and two nephews, Vincent and Jordan. Visiting hours for Frenchie will be held on Tuesday from 4-7PM in the Firtion Adams FS 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. www.firtionadams.com
