WESTFIELD – Betty J. Strniste, 85, passed away at the Governor’s Center on Sunday, May 24, 2020. She was born January 19, 1935 in Westfield to the late John and Mary (Baker) Strniste. She was a 1953 graduate of Westfield High School. In her early years Betty was employed at White Industries and then at the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Atonement. Betty leaves behind her beloved niece Hilda Surprenant and her good friend Bill Adamczyk, both of Westfield and many other close friends. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 12 at 1:30 in Pine Hill Cemetery. Firtionadams.com
