WESTFIELD: Robert Keith LaCasse, 67, of Westfield, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on November 3, 2020 after a difficult battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD).
Bob was born on March 20, 1953 to Edmond LaCasse, III and Anna (Hewins) Wilder in Westfield, MA. After graduating from Westfield High School in 1973, he worked as a CNC machinist for many years until he retired in 2017.
In 1983, he married Kyle Irene Kohlrusch, going on to have 2 children, Kristen (LaCasse) Stephens and Alyssa LaCasse. Although they divorced in 1990, they maintained a strong friendship.
Bob was a passionate outdoorsman and skilled marksman, loved camping, hunting, fishing and gardening, and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. Anyone who knew him knew that he was the most loving father and grandfather a family could ever ask for.
He was predeceased by his father Edmond LaCasse III, mother Anna (Hewins) Wilder and daughter Alyssa LaCasse. He is survived by his daughter Kristen (LaCasse) Stephens, 3 grandchildren: Shannon Wall, Lilyana Stephens and Kaleb Stephens; sisters Valerie Wilder, Holly VanBeek and Carol Stanford; and brothers Vallis Wilder III, Edmond LaCasse IV, Michael LaCasse and Darren LaCasse.
