WESTFIELD: Basilisa “Sisa” Rosario, 88, died Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on September 11, 1933 to the late Juan Ines Rosario and Ramona Natal Rosario. She came to Westfield in 1979. She worked at a tobacco farm here and was a housekeeper for the Governors Center Nursing Home. Sisa was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
She leaves her siblings Ramona Irizarry and her husband Radames, Wilfredo Rosario, George Rosario all of Westfield, Samuel Rosario of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 7th, from 6-8 pm at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will be at 12 noon on Saturday, April 9th, in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
